| The Waxing Moon Phase The time between the New Moon and the Full Moon (as the moon grows lighter) is known as the Waxing Moon. This phase favors starting new activities and initiatives, getting involved in activities in which you expect continuation and completion. This is the optimum time for beginning new projects and exploring new ideas. Sow your seed for a future harvest during this time. This is also prime time to "dare to do something different". Start a new health plan or diet, change jobs or start a new business. |
| The Waning Moon Phase The time between the Full Moon and New Moon (as the moon grows darker) is known as the Waning Moon. This phase is best for letting go and finishing things up. This is not an opportune time to begin new projects. The energy of the moon is diminishing you will be less likely to complete any project begun during this phase. This is a good time to finish any projects or paperwork that you may have been putting off for awhile. In this way you free yourself up to take full advantage of all the new opportunities waiting for you during the upcoming New Moon. |
