| Mt. Giliad Church - Pendleton, Indiana This well kept church is rumored to be able to help you create and focus more psychic energy prior to investigating Cry Baby Bridge or Main St. Cemetery. If you run around this church 10 times before leaving and going immediately to either the bridge or cemetery, you will have more paranormal activity than if you do not run around the church. updated 7/15/06 |
| Mudlavia Hotel & Spa - Warren County, Indiana This location is of a series old abandoned buildings. These buildings began as a sanitarium, then became a health spa and resort (rumored to be visited by Al Capone) until it was finally a restaurant until it closed. The changes were made following 3 suspicious fires. No apparent cause of the fires is known. There are rumors of the KKK and/or Satan Worshippers (naturally) using this remote location for their own agenda. Reports of paranormal activity here are the sound of a party when no one is around, shadowy figures walking the hallways, scratch marks left on you by a spiritual presence, being pushed down the stairs and the constant feeling of being watched or stalked. updated 8/19/06 |
| Dog Face Bridge-San Pierre, Indiana Sometime during the 1950s a couple were driving over this bridge heading for their honeymoon. A dog ran out in front of them. The man swerved to try and miss the dog, drove off the side of the bridge still killing the dog. The man and woman were both killed in the accident. The woman and the dog were both decapitated in the accident. Supposedly the head of the dog and the body of the woman were never found. If you walk down the path there are 2 bridges. The 2nd bridge is supposed to be the one the crash occured on. If you walk down the path from the 1st bridge to the 2nd one you will see a womans' body with a dogs head. She will chase you. If she catches you she will eat you. As you are walking you can hear animal growls, howls and snorts. updated 5/24/2007 |
| Tall, Dark and Handsome - Boone County, Indiana A 7' tall man-beast is reported to roam the Elizaville Road between Elizaville and Lebanon in Boone County. He has been reported roaming this area since 1924. Some say that he is searching for something that is of importance to him but, we cannot find any verification of this. You are supposed to stand on the road and scream into the night. He is supposed to respond to your scream by tracking you down and taking you to his "domain" and eating you BONES AND ALL. Brown's Wonder Cemetery is also mentioned briefly in some stories about this haunt as a possible place that he can be found roaming. updated 5/27/06 |
| Shiloh Church - Cass County, Indiana A young girl is supposed to appear in the church basement window after you drive around the church(counter-clockwise) 3 times. After that a semi is reported to chase you for a short distance before disapearing. Devils' Dip is close by. Some reports say that you will have an accident on Devil's Dip after leaving the church parking lot if you have circled the church the 3 times(counter-clockwise). updated 7/1/06 |
| Main Street Cemetery-Pendleton, Indiana Located not far from Cry Baby Bridge, this cemetery is down a long "road" encased by corn fields on both sides. Reports of noises, moving lights, strange mists, and an overall feeling of something that is not easily described. updated 7/15/06 |
| Okie Pinokie-Peru, Indiana 8 decaying bodies were found here. Supposedly reported by Mississinewa Staff Members. We could not find anything documenting this in the local papers as far back as 1960. If you whistle while here, someone is supposed to whistle back at you. Noises like a pig squealing, dogs barking and a child screaming have also been reported. Local rumor is that a young girl/woman was tortured, raped and murdered in this area by Satan Worshippers during a ceremony. Once again we could find nothing documenting this in any local papers. updated 7/1/06 |
| Cry Baby Bridge-Pendleton, Indiana Located near Pendleton, not Anderson as most people think, this bridge has a familiar legend attached to it. A woman, in great distress, threw her baby off this bridge to it's death. If you stop your car on the bridge, turn off the ignition and wait for a few minutes your car will not start up for several minutes. While you are trying to start your car you will hear the cries of the woman and her baby. updated 7/15/06 |
| Peace-Ful Acres-Bunker Hill, Indiana The story goes something like this. A ghost wearing a bandanna and known as the "toothless wonder" can be seen floating over a chicken coop located behind Lot # 3 in the trailer park, all the while looking down at you hungrily. |
| Satan Church-Russiaville, Indiana An old boarded up church outside of Russiaville has been dubbed The Satan Church. There is a cemetery beside the church where many reported paranormal things have happened. Red eyes glowing amongst the gravestones, along with a heavy shapeless mist, glowing orbs, whispers, growling and disembodied voices from there and the church itself. Rumors in the area are that a "cult" (either Satan Worshippers or Witches depending on who is telling the story) use the church and graveyard for their rituals. The church and graveyard are in the middle of nowhere. You must have directions to find this place. updated 7/8/06 |
| Lutheran Cemetery-Peru, Indiana The accepted story is that on the older side of this cemetery there is a very large white cross. At a certain time of night, perhaps midnight but no one seems to know for sure, a stairway will appear descending from the middle of the cross. No one seems to know where this stairway leads to or if it is even possible to utilize it, or if "something else" will be using the stairway. |
| 5 Corners Cemetery-Miami County, Indiana This cemetery was mentioned to a member of our group as a possible haunted site we might like to visit. Reported odd sounds, unexplained lights and other assorted phenomena. |
| Hookman's Cemetery-Peru, Indiana The rumored site of the grave of "Hookman". Forever wandering the old Lovers' Lane looking for his next victim. Supposedly no matter what time of day you go to this cemetery there is a fog that seems to sit on the top of the hill. No breeze, birds or insects are evident here. If you walk 1.5 miles back through the cemetery you will be in a cold pocket of air that marks his burial site. On some nights it is rumored that you can see him. updated 4/27/07 |
| Old Jacob's Funeral Home-Kokomo, Indiana This building is located in the 1300 block of S. Main St. behind the Kokomo Tribune building. This was once used as a funeral home. At night people have reported seeing a light "floating" through the rooms. If you get close enough to the building the odor of decaying flesh seems to come from the building. Black shadows and noises have been reported in the basement. This building is up for sale. |
| Olive Branch Cemetery -Matthews/Elizabethtown, Indiana If you drive past the Elizabethtown sign you are supposed to see a woman dressed all in black staring at you as you go by. Olive Branch Cemetery is home to shadowy figures (either moving about the cemetery or simply stationary) which change shape, voices, formless mist, unexpected noises and unexplainable scents. updated 6/22/2007 |
| Jerome Cemetery-Jerome, Indiana The cemetery is reported to be the home of "The Red Eyed Dog" and his Master (wearing a black cloak). If you go to this cemetery you are supposed to see the dog and master wandering the cemetery. The dog apparently attacks people while his Master looks on. | Haunted House-Howard County, Indiana This house is reported to be the site of a lot of paranormal activity. Orbs, various apparitions and "something" knocking on your car as it sits in the driveway are some of the phenomena that have been witnessed here. | Hobbitland-Near 1812 Battleground Mississinewa- Marion, Indiana Location of many battles between Indianans and settlers. Battle reenactments are staged each year. Reportedly the location of an inordinately large number of suicides. Lights, both moving and stationary can be seen here. If you stop your car in front of the sign marking the site of a battle your car will "seem" to move on its own. The trees grow across the road making it feel like you are driving through a tunnel. Reflections of light on water can be seen through the trees with no water to be found when investigating the area. |
| Mount Hope Cemetery-Logansport, Indiana Located in downtown Logansport, this cemetery has been around since the 1800s. The sound of horses has been reported here. Also if you whistle a tune, you will have someone whistling along with you. A lot of mausoleums in this cemetery. Some of the inscriptions on the gravestones are interesting, including one that reads " knock three times and they shall come" |

| Troll Bridge - Bremen, Indiana A tall, dark being is supposed to chase you if you park a little ways from the bridge. It may also throw things at you as you run from it. Updated 9/24/06 |
| Little Egypt Cemetery - Bremen, Indiana If you drive around this cemetery you are supposed to find hand prints on your windshield afterwards. Placing a nickel on a baby's tomb will result in hearing the baby crying nearby, and various apparitions have been reported here. Last of all, reports of a girl screaming in the nearby woods have also been made. Updated 10/8/06 |

| 1812/Missisinewa Battleground - Between Peru and Marion, Indiana This site has a lot of bloody, angry history. Indiana Burial Grounds are present here as well as the site of many battles. Spirits have been reported moaning, appearing in the distance, your vehicle "seems" to move while it is in park, strange glowing lights and sometimes the sound of battles long past can be heard here. | Hopewell Cemetery - Howard County, Indiana Located near the resevoir this cemetery is hard to find because the area is overgrown. Fenced and gated but, without hours or no trespassing signs posted it is worth a look. Odd feelings and apparitions have been reported here. updated 4/27/2007 |
| Miami Cemetery - Miami, Indiana This small cemetery came to our notice from one of our website visitors. He had emailed photos and EVPs to Craig (one of our investigators) along with directions to the cemetery. The EVPs caught our interest and we decided to give this cemetery a look. | Edna Collings Bridge - Clinton Falls This covered bridge was built in 1922 as a replacement for the concrete one that had washed away. The legend concerning this bridge concerns the death of a young girl in the water under the bridge who returns when you drive onto the bridge, stop and honk 3 times. She is supposed to get into your vehicle in expectation of a ride home. updated 8/19/2007 |
| Belle Gunness - La Porte Known as the "Lady Bluebeard" of La Porte, Indiana this woman lured men to her home in the early 1900s with ads placed in the newspapers seeking a husband to help her with her farm. Once they arrived with the money they had received from selling all they owned the men "left in the night", never to be seen again. At least never, until...12 bodies were found buried on the property following a fire that destroyed the farm house. updated 9/10/2007 |
